3.3 MICROSWITCH
It is a normally closed (NC) switch that denes the reference gradient: is it positioned so that it is
pressed by the equipment during the reset procedure to identify the reference position.
3.4 JOYSTICK
There are 2 joysticks used to adjust the gradient and the speed. Each time they are pressed (for-
wards or backwards), a signal is sent to the CPU Board of the High Kit which changes the speed
or the gradient depending on the joystick that was moved.
3.5 SWITCH BOX
The switch box, which manages the power part of the equipment, houses the following:
The equipment’s power supply input socket;
The ON/OFF button;
2 circuit breakers on the phase and neutral;
Filter board, which reduces conduct emissions.
3.6 STIWI DRIVE (LOW KIT)
Fig. 7
The STIWI drive:
Receives the power supply from the switch box;
Provides the necessary power supplies to support all the electronic High Kit and Low Kit
devices;
Controls the belt motor, limit microswitch, gradient motor, braking resistance
It pilots and controls all the actuators and sensors able to manage the moving components;
Communicates with the High Kit via a protocol based on the physical layer RS-485 Half
