Saving an analog waveform to reference memory. To save an analog waveform to nonvolatile memory inside
the oscillosco
pe, select the waveform that you want to save, push Save Waveform, and then select one of the reference
waveform locations. Four-channel models have four reference locations. Two-channel models have two reference locations.
Saved waveforms contain only the most recent acquisi tion. Gray-scale information, if any, is not saved.
NOTE. 5 M reference waveforms are volatile and not saved when the oscilloscope power is turned off. To keep these
waveforms, s
ave them to external storage.
Displaying a Reference Waveform
To display a waveform stored in nonvolatile memory:
1. Push Ref R.
2. Push R1, R
2, R3,orR4.

ff)
Removing a reference waveform from the display. To remove a reference waveform from the display:
1. Push Ref R.
2. Push R
1, R2, R3,orR4 on the lower menu
to remove the reference waveform from the
display.

The reference waveform is still in nonvolatile
memory and can be displayed again.
