Cb. Turns the Cb component (YCbCr format), B component (GBR format), or
Y component (XYZ format) of the serial digital video signal on or off. Use the

Cr. Turns the Cr component (YCbCr format), R component (GBR format), or
Z component (XYZ format) of the serial digital video signal on or off. Use the
left ()orright() arrow button to select between ON and OFF.Pressthe

Edge Filter. Enables or disables the Edge Filter on serial digital video signals that
have a lter. This control has no effect on signals without a lter. Use the left
()orright() arrow button to select between Enable and Disable. Press the
ENTER button to conrm the selection.
When the edge lter is enabled, certain data transitions between two levels are run
through a low-pass lter to set rise times, pulse widths, and to prevent ringing.
If the lter is disabled, the edges will not be ltered. The lter should not be
disab
led in broadcast environments.
Edge ltering is not n ecessary in certain environments, such as digital cinema
appl
ications and several types of picture monitors and projectors. In these cases,
disabling the edge ltering will result in instantaneous level changes for adjacent
color bars.
NOTE. Software versions of the HD3G7 module prior to V5.5 included a 2K TEST
SIGNAL KEY ASSIGN menu to select pro jector-speci
c test patterns that had no
edge ltering. With software version V5.5, this functionality has been replaced by
t
he Edge Filter s ubmenu, which can be applied to any test signal.
AV Timing Mode. Turns the AV Timing Mode on or off. Use the left ()orright
() arrow button to select between ON and OFF.PresstheENTER button to
conrm the selection.
In the AV Timing m ode, the video and audio are continuously cycled between
beingonascongured for 1 second then set to black and muted for 4 seconds.
Use this signal to measure the AV delay through a system with the AV Timing
mode on an appropriate Tektronix w aveform monitor or rasterizer.
