To output a signal from the HDVG7 module, you need to select a signal format
and output signal as described below.
To select the
signal format
Perform the following steps to select the signal format:
1. Press the front-panel MODULE button until the HDVG7 module main menu
appears as shown below.
2. Option BK
only: Set the HD trilevel sync rate:
a. Use the up (▲)ordown(▼) arrow button to scroll through the main
menu unt
il HD RATE is displayed as shown below.
b. Use the left (◄)orright(►)arrowbuttontoselectNon-integer (59.94,
29.97, 23.98) or Integer (60, 5 0, 30, 25, 24), and then press the ENTER
buttontoconfirm the selection.
NOTE. The HD RATE setting affects which signal formats can be selected
for output (integer or non-integer).
3. Press the FORMAT button to access the SELECT FORMAT submenu.
4. Use the left (◄)orright(►) arrow button, or press the FORMAT button
repeatedly, to select one of the s ignal formats, a nd then press the ENTER
button to confirm the selection.

OTE. When you c hange signal format, synchronization shock occurs.
5. If you change the signal format while a test signal is being output, the
instrument starts loading a ll of the signal sets for the selected format and
displays the message "Now Loading...". When you see the message, "Done
(Press BACK)", press the BACK button.
