adjust the timing offset of the serial digital video outputs relative
to the internal reference signal (frame reset signal). Use the up (▲)ordown
(▼) arrow button to change the m enu items. The following figure shows the
TIMING submenu.

Vertic
al. Sets the v ertical timing offset. Use the left (◄)orright(►) arrow
button to change the timing offset. You can set the value from –½ to +½ frame in
1-line steps.
NOTE. A “line" of timing refers to the timing as if it were a raster scanning a
CRT.Thismaynotbethesameasthetimethatalineofdataispresentonthe
serial link because of the way that Level B signals are interleaved.
Horizontal. Sets the horizontal timing offset. Use the left (◄) or right (►) arrow
button to change the timing offset. You can set the value from –1 to +1 line in
1-
clock steps.
NOTE. You can reset the timing offset to zero by p ressing the left (◄) and right
(►) arrow buttons simultaneously.
Relative To. Sets the Zero Timing D-to-A compensation factor o n or off for HD
(1.485 Gb/s) and SD (270 Mb/s) formats only. In the serial mode (default), the
output timing does not include compensation for the delay through a nominal
D-to-A converter. Use the left (◄) or right (►) arrow button to set the relative
timing to e ither Serial (0H) or Analog (DAC).
