Usethismenuto
adjust the timing offset of the serial digital video outputs relative
to the internal reference signal (frame reset signal). Use the up ()ordown
() arrow button to change the m enu items. The following gure shows the
TIMING submenu.

Vertic
al. Sets the v ertical timing offset. Use the left ()orright() arrow
button to change the timing offset. You can set the value from –½ to frame in
1-line steps.
NOTE. A “line" of timing refers to the timing as if it were a raster scanning a
CRT.Thismaynotbethesameasthetimethatalineofdataispresentonthe
serial link because of the way that Level B signals are interleaved.
Horizontal. Sets the horizontal timing offset. Use the left () or right () arrow
button to change the timing offset. You can set the value from –1 to +1 line in
1-
clock steps.
NOTE. You can reset the timing offset to zero by p ressing the left () and right
() arrow buttons simultaneously.
Relative To. Sets the Zero Timing D-to-A compensation factor o n or off for HD
(1.485 Gb/s) and SD (270 Mb/s) formats only. In the serial mode (default), the
output timing does not include compensation for the delay through a nominal
D-to-A converter. Use the left () or right () arrow button to set the relative
timing to e ither Serial (0H) or Analog (DAC).
