The interpreter menu - example
In short, following overview provides the different steps to set up a
interpreter system:
1. Define the number of booths via
2.Interpretation/1.Configuration/3.Options/1.Max # Booth .
2. Define the number of desks per booth via
2.Interpretation/1.Configuration/3.Options/2.Max #
Booth/Desk .
3. Define the number of channels via
2.Interpretation/1.Configuration/3.Options/3.Max # Channel
(unreachable in version 0.03.11 (default 10), fixed in 0.03.12).
4. Check the options in 1.Interpretation/3.Options/4..5 (mode
in/between booths).
5. If necessary check the options in
2.Interpretation/1.Configuration/3.Options/6.Advanced .
6. Connect the language to the channel number via
2.Interpretation/1.Configuration/2.Channel Config.
7. Specify the A-Ch. Language/channel for each booth via
2.Interpretation/1.Configuration/1.Booth Config.
8. Specify the B-Ch. Language/channel for each booth/desk via
2.Interpretation/1.Configuration/1.Booth Config: with F1 a
channel can be added (marked ‘+’) or removed (marked ‘-‘).
With F2 a channel can be set as the default B-Ch..
9. When all this is done (or whenever the configuration has
changed), the configuration must be saved via
2.Interpretation/1.Configuration/4.Save Config.
10. To activate the interpreter desks, they must be initialized via
2.Interpretation/2.Initialise Units/1.Full Init – Press the
microphone button of each interpreter desk to initialize the unit
– Press “ENTER” on the CPU5500 to end the initialization.
11. Now the interpreter system is configured and initialized. Step
10 should only be carried out when the interpreter desk should
change their booth/desk number.
