4. UDP Config : this option sets the UDP Port, the

OPERATOR DESK:
The optional operator desk control panel must be enabled through
this menu item. A control panel is a miniature physical
representation of the conference room. With this control panel you
can for instance activate and deactivate a microphone, change the
volume, change the operating mode, see the status of the interpreter
booths, etc. The control panel can be fully customized to the needs
of your conference room. The operator desk communicates with
the CPU5500 central unit over RS232.
1. Mode : this option allows to switch of the
communication or activate the com
RS232 COM port
2. COM Port Config : this option sets the COM port
settings such as COM port (COM2)
and Baudrate (19200)
SAVE:
Any change to the peripheral configuration must be saved into the
memory of the CPU5500, so that each time the system is rebooted,
the configuration remains active.
When you choose to save the configuration, the CPU5500 central
unit has to be rebooted.
Miscellaneous
This menu item allows to control the contrast level of the LCD
display.
Another setting is the return time to the menu when no action has
been done (only the blue lined menu items have no return
capability). Standard this time is set to 30 seconds.
IP Address
The IP address of the CPU5500 Central unit can be set through this
menu item.
When the address has been changed, the CPU5500 will have to be
rebooted.
