GCON LCD Diagnostic Readout
The diagnostic readout displays alpha numeric
codes that provide information about the machine
operating status and about malfunctions.
The codes listed in the Diagnostic Trouble Code
Charts describe malfunctions and can aid in
troubleshooting the machine by pinpointing the
area or component affected.
Models are listed below each code to assist in the
troubleshooting codes for a specific model.

SmartLink
™
Diagnostic
System
This machine is equipped with the Genie
SmartLink™ Diagnostic System (GSDS). The
GSDS indicates a machine malfunction has
happened by displaying Operational Indicator
Codes (OIC) and Diagnostic Trouble Codes
(DTC). These codes are displayed at the Platform
Controls and the Ground Controls. The Ground
Controls will display a brief description of the code
at the LCD display as well. Refer to the GCON I/O
Maps, Operational Indicator Codes (OIC) and
Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) in this section, to
assist in troubleshooting faults.
