10.2.3. Adapter for upper body training
Risk of injury due to incorrectly installed adapter for upper body training!
Slide the adapter up to the stop in the securing system.
Make sure that control knob latches.
Risk of injury with one-sided training!
Make sure that the unused adapter for upper body training is not plugged in during one-sided training.
Press control knob 1.
Slide adapter 2 into securing system 3 up to the stop. Securing system includes two positions with different
ranges of motion:
‒ Radius of movement – position 1 = 55 mm
‒ Radius of movement – position 2 = 85 mm
Release control knob.
Make sure that control knob latches.
The securing system consists of a hexagon. Turn the crank of the adapter so that the hexagon is aligned
with the receptacle.
The THERA-Trainer displays the selected position of the radius of movement in the control and display
unit.
10.2.4. Therapy grips/arm rests
Risk of injury due to incorrectly installed therapy grips/arm rests!
Slide the therapy grips/arm rests to the upper body training adapter up to the stop.
Make sure that locking bolt latches.
Before therapy grips/arm rests can be attached, the upper body training adapter must be mounted
(see chapter 10.2.3).
