17.3.3. Distance detection
Rear distance detection 2 is only available with base unit + T.assist.
Front distance detection 1:
Risk of injury from approaching drive unit!
Pause/stop the lowering process of the drive unit using the following functions.
‒ Release the lifting column height button (see chapter 18.1.2).
‒ Press the emergency stop button (see chapter 18.1.2).
‒ Press the patient emergency stop (see Chapter 17.3.4).
‒ Hold hand in front distance detection 1 area (see diagram above).
Before training inform patient that hand can be held in front distance detection 1 area to pause lowering process.
Front distance detection responds before and during training when an obstacle enters the detection zone.
‒ See lifting column height setting, chapter 18.1.2.
If T.assist code A003 is displayed:
The lifting column automatically moves to the height corresponding to the minimum distance.
The signal message is exited automatically as soon as the minimum distance has been reached.
Rear distance detection 2:
Rear distance detection responds during training when an obstacle enters the detection zone.
‒ The display unit shows T.assist code A002.
‒ Status lights are orange and beeps sound.
To exit signal message A002:
Move lifting column upwards.
Press STOP button to exit signal message.
Behaviour during shock position:
Stop shock position movement of the bed/couch.
Put patient in shock position.
‒ Use lifting columns (raise) to raise legs.
- OR -
‒ Remove the THERA-Trainer from bed/couch and continue shock position movement of bed/couch.
