Spasm detection:
Enables the threshold to be set at which the sensors detect an inadmissible reaction of the patient
and stop the motor in order to minimise the risk of overstraining.
fine (1)
o
Patients with very sensitive joints and tendons. Motor will stop even at slight resistance.
medium (2)
o
Patients with less sensitive joints.
rough (3)
o
Patients with severe spasms. Motor will stop only at strong resistance.
The larger the radius of movement or the lower the motor power, the spasm detection will react more
sensitively, and vice versa.
Spasm program:
Enables the direction of rotation to be set, in which the exercise will resume after a spasm has been
detected.
forward (1)
o
always start in forward direction after a spasm was detected (recommended if user tends to have
stretch spasms)
backward (2)
o
always start in backward direction after a spasm was detected (recommended if user tends to have
flexion spasms)
alternating (3)
o
change direction of rotation after a spasm was detected
following (4)
o start in previous direction of rotation after a spasm was detected
