Door Sentry-II Operation
Modes
Zone 1 Zone 2 Zone 1 Door Open Zone 2 Door Open Both Doors Open
HS Cool Cool Unit goes to low speed,
damper solenoid
energizes, closes damper
or stops fan motors, LLS
de-energizes and closes.
Zone 2 unit continues
cooling.
All power to Zone 2 unit
control circuits and
thermostat is interrupted.
Zone 1 unit ERC is
disabled. Zone 1 unit cools
normally.
Zone 1 unit ERC disabled.
Zone 1 unit runs normal.
Power to all remote unit
circuits is interrupted.
LS Cool Cool Damper solenoid
energizes, closes damper
or stops fan motors, LLS
de-energizes and closes.
Zone 2 unit continues
cooling.
All power to Zone 2 unit
control circuits and
thermostat is interrupted.
Zone 1 unit ERC is
disabled. Zone 1 unit cools
normally.
All power to Zone 2 unit
control circuits is
interrupted. Zone 1 unit
ERC is disabled. Zone 1
unit cools normally.
Heat Cool Damper solenoid
energizes, closes damper
or stops fan motors, LLS
and HGS de-energize and
close. Zone 2 unit
continues cooling in low
speed.
All power to Zone 2 unit
control circuits and
thermostat is interrupted.
Zone 1 unit ERC is
disabled. Zone 1 unit
heats.
All power to Zone 2 unit
control circuits is
interrupted. Zone 1 unit
ERC is disabled. Zone 1
unit heats normally.
HS Cool Heat Damper solenoid
energizes, closes damper
or stops fan motors, LLS
de-energizes and closes.
Zone 2 unit continues
heating.
All power to Zone 2 unit
control circuits and
thermostat is interrupted.
Zone 1 unit ERC is
disabled. Zone 1 unit
cools.
All power to Zone 2 unit
control circuits is
interrupted. Zone 1 unit
ERC is disabled. Zone 1
unit cools normally in High
Speed.
HS Cool Null Unit goes to low speed,
LLS de-energizes and
closes. The damper
solenoid energizes and
closes the damper or stops
fan motors. The Zone 2
unit is forced to heat.
All power to Zone 2 unit
control circuits and
thermostat is interrupted.
Zone 1 unit ERC is
disabled. Zone 1 unit cools
normally in high speed.
All power to Zone 2 unit
control circuits and
thermostat is interrupted.
Zone 1 unit ERC is
disabled. Zone 1 unit cools
normally in high speed.
Defrost Cool Zone 1 unit stays in
Defrost. The Zone 2 unit
continues to select Cool
but effective cooling stops
because of system
pressures created when
SLS de-energizes.
Zone 1 unit stays in
Defrost. All power to Zone
2 unit control circuits and
thermostat is interrupted.
Zone 1 unit stays in
Defrost. The Zone 2 unit
continues to select Cool
but effective cooling stops
because of system
pressures created when
SLS de-energizes.
