General Information
Install Location: Any slot except 1-1 and 2-1.
I/O: (1) 75 Female BNC Input, (1) 75 Female BNC Output
Supported Formats: DVB-ASI, 310M
Description: This card provides either DVB-ASI or 310M input and output. The card will provide 310M
output only if the input TS is 19.39 Mb/sec. When the card is in ASI mode, the TS bitrate for both the
input and output is from 1.5 Mb/sec 160 Mb/sec. When the card is in SMPTE 310M mode, the bitrate
for both input and output must be 19.39 Mb/sec. The output will be the same type that the input is set
for (e.g. 310M or ASI). When the card is in ASI mode, the ASI OUT will output the TS signal coming
from the active input, whatever the input (ASI, DVB S/S2, IP...). If the active input is ASI IN, the ASI
OUT will function as an active loop through. If the unit is powered off the loop through is inoperative.
Up to 6 ASI cards can be installed in the unit, in order to provide duplicate TS streams.
