OTHER ELECTRICAL
Connect a battery as shown. There must be continuity/
no continuity between the terminals shown.
• Use a known-good battery for the test.
Positive (+) battery terminal connected to Light
green terminal:
Positive (+) battery terminal connected to Light blue
terminal:
TRIM ANGLE SENSOR INSPECTION
Remove the engine cover.
Disconnect the trim angle sensor 3P connector [1].
Measure the resistance between the trim angle sensor
3P connector sensor side terminals.
Between Green and Black No continuity
Between Blue and Black Continuity
Between Green and White Continuity
Between Blue and White No continuity
Between Green and Black Continuity
Between Blue and Black No continuity
Between Green and White No continuity
Between Blue and White Continuity
Black
Connect
to each
terminal
one by
one.

Between Light green/Black [2] and
Black [3]
3.8 – 5.8 kΩ
Between Yellow/Blue [4] and Black 2.7 – 4.3 kΩ
