24. CHECKS AND ADJUSTMENTS
With this option you can check if the built-in camera is aligned correctly. If for whatever reason the
camera becomes misaligned, images cannot be displayed correctly on the camera tab.
Checking is performed using the target at the back of this manual.
• During a check, sight the target by the telescope.
• Perform a check in weak sunlight and no scintillation.
PROCEDURE Checking
1. Carefully level the instrument.
2. Print targets at the back of this manual.

• Print targets in color and in the same
magnification.
3. Choose a target and position it at a point
designated distance in the horizontal direction
from the instrument.
• Face the target toward the instrument.
• The distance should be within the range of
±0.1m from the designated value.
4. Display the Camera tab of the Observation mode
and set the magnification to x 8.0.
5. Sight the center of the target and measure the
distance.
• Set "Reflector" to "N-prism" in Config mode.
