AccessingtheFuse
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceandplacethetractionleverinthe
NEUTRALposition.TurnthekeyswitchtotheOFFpositionandremovethe
keyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Disconnectthebatterypack;refertoConnectingtheLithiumBatteryPack
(page5–7).
3.Raiseandsupportthebatterypacktogetaccesstothefusecover;referto
LithiumBatteryPack(forModels04042,04043,and04046)(page5–74).
4.Removethe8screwsand8lockwashersthatsecurethefusecovertothe
bottomofthebatterypack(Figure94).Removethefusecover.
5.Afteryoucompletethefuseservice:
A.Securethefusecovertothebottomofthebatterypackwiththe8screws
and8lockwashers(Figure94);torquethescrewsto0.34N∙m(3in-lb).
B.Lowerandsecurethebatterypacktothemachine;refertoLithium
BatteryPack(forModels04042,04043,and04046)(page5–74).
C.Connectthebatterypack;refertoConnectingtheLithiumBatteryPack
(page5–7).
TestingtheFuse
1.Accessthebatterypackfuseasdescribedabove.
2.Carefullyremovethefusefromthebatterypackfuseholderfortesting.
3.Thefuseshouldhavecontinuitybetweenthefuseterminals.
