Note:Removalofthecuttingunitcanbecompletedbyremovingtherightside
platefromthecuttingunitcrossmember.Theleftsideplate(includingthereel
driveassembly)doesnothavetoberemovedfromthecrossmemberwhen
usingthefollowingprocedure.
CAUTION
Contactwiththereel,bedknifeorothercuttingunitpartscanresult
inpersonalinjury.
Useheavygloveswhenhandlingthebedbar.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,turnthekeyswitchtotheOFFposition,
andremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch.Ensurethatthetractionleverisin
theNEUTRALposition.
2.Disconnectthebatterypack;refertoConnectingtheLithiumBatteryPack
(page7–3).
3.Removethecuttingunitfromthemachineandplacethecuttinguniton
aatworkarea.
