assemblypurposes,notethelocationofplasticandsteelwashers;referto
RemovingtheBedbar(page7–10).
7.Loosenthefastenersthatsecurethefrontandrearrollerstotherightside
plate;refertoRemovingtheFrontRoller(page7–18)andRemovingthe
RearRoller(page7–20).
8.Supportthecuttingunittopreventitfromshiftingorfalling.
9.Removetheshoulderbolts(item8inFigure176)andangenutsthatsecure
therightsideplatetothecuttingunitcrossmember.Removetherightside
platefromthereelshaft,rollers,bedbar,andcuttingunitcrossmember.
Removetherightpitcharmandcompressionspringfromtherightsideplate.
10.Carefullyslidethecuttingunitassemblywiththeockedseals(item2in
Figure178),reelbearings,bearinglockscrew,andreeldriveshaftfromthe
leftslideplate.Locateandremovetheatwirespring(item15inFigure176).
