theidlerarm.
8.Removetheshoulderscrew(item10inFigure31)thatsecurestheidlerarm
assemblytothedrumdrivehousing,andremovetheidlerarmassembly
fromthehousing.

1.Iftheidlerarmassemblywasdisassembled(Figure32),dothefollowing
steps:
A.Pressnewangebushingsintotheidlerbracket.
B.Pressnewballbearingsfullyintotheidlerpulleyandensuretoapply
pressuretotheouterbearingraceonly.Slidethepulleyassemblyonto
theidlerbracketandsecurewitharetainingring.
2.Positiontheidlerarmassemblytothedrumdrivehousingandsecurewitha
shoulderscrew(item10inFigure31).T orquetheshoulderscrewto21to
23N∙m(15to17ft-lb).Checkthattheidlerarmassemblycanpivotfreely
afteryoutightentheshoulderscrew.
3.Carefullysecuretheendoftheextensionspring(item4inFigure31)to
theidlerarm.
4.Ensurethatthewavewasher(item2inFigure31)ispressedintotheboreof
thedrumdrivecover.
5.Positionnewgasket(item17inFigure31)tothehousingsurface.
