IMPORTANT
Topreventdamagetothehydraulichosesandtubes,cabletiesand
clampsmaybeusedtosecurethehosesandtubestothemachine
components.Recordthelocationofallcabletiesandclampsthat
areremovedfromthemachinesotheycanbeproperlyreplaced.
8.Forassemblypurposes,labelallthehydraulicconnections.Loosenthehose
clampsanddisconnectthehosesfromthehydraulictank.
9.Caporplugthehydraulicttingsandhosestopreventcontaminationfrom
enteringthehydraulicsystem.
10.Removethe3clampsthatsecurethehydraulictanktothemachine.
11.Removethehydraulictankfromthemachine.
12.Ifhydraulicttingsaretoberemovedfromthehydraulictank,markthetting
orientationtoallowforcorrectassemblybeforeremovingthettings.

RefertoFigure49forthisprocedure.
1.Ifanyofthehydraulicttingswereremovedfromthetank,usenewO-rings
andtightenthettingstothecorrecttorque:
•1-5/8inchplug=81to100N·m(60to74ft-lbs)
•1-1/16inchtting=23to28N·m(17to21ft-lbs)
•3/4inchplugortting=23to28N·m(17to21ft-lbs)
2.Positionthehydraulictankinthemachineandsecurethetanktothemachine
withthe3previouslyremovedclamps.
3.Removeanycapsorplugsfromthehydrauliclinesandttingsandconnect
thehydrauliclinestothetank.
4.Installanewhydraulicuidlter;refertothetractionunitOperator’sManual.
5.Chargethehydraulicsystem;refertoChargingtheHydraulicSystem(page
5–64).
6.Installtheleftrearwheel;refertoRemovingandInstallingtheRearWheels
