LeftCuttingDeckLower
Tolowertheleftwingdeck,thefrontoftheleftconsoleswitchisdepressedto
actasaninputtotheslaveTEC.Thecontrollerprovidesanelectricaloutputto
solenoidvalvesS1,S3andS4inthesteering/deckliftcontrolmanifold.The
energizedsolenoidvalvesshifttoallowapassageforcircuitoilowtotherod
endoftheleftwingdeckliftcylinder.ShiftedS1preventsoilowfromreturning
directlytothetractionchargecircuit.ShiftedS3allowsanoilpathtotheshaft
endoftheliftcylindertoretracttheliftcylinderandlowertheleftwingdeck.Oil
fromtheretractingcylinderowsthroughoriceOR3tocontrolthedropspeedof
thecuttingdeck.FlowisthendirectedthroughtheshiftedS4,counterbalance
valve(RV3)andthenisroutedtothetractionchargecircuit.
Whenthedeckswitchisreleased,thecontrolmanifoldsolenoidsare
de−energizedandtheliftcylinderandleftwingdeckareheldinposition.
CuttingDeckFloat
Cuttingdeckoatallowsthefullyloweredcuttingdeckstofollowgroundsurface
contours.LiftcontrolmanifoldsolenoidvalvesS4(leftdeck),S6(frontdeck)
andS9(rightdeck)areenergizedwhenthedecksarefullylowered.These
energizedsolenoidsprovideanoilpassagetoandfromtheliftcylinderstoallow
cylinderandcuttingdeckmovementwhilemowing.Counterbalancepressure
willaffectdeckoatoperation.
Note:IfadeckisalreadyfullyloweredwhenthekeyswitchismovedfromOFF
toRUN,thedeckwillnotbeinoatuntilthedecklift/lowerswitchismomentarily
pressedtolower.
