amanualreleasevalve(MV),ahandpump(HP)andareliefvalve(RV).When
theengineisrunningthemanualreleasevalve(MV)opens,pressurizingthe
brakecircuitandreleasingthebrakes.Whentheengineisnotrunning,closing
themanualreleasevalve(MV)andpumpingthehandpump(HP)pressurizes
thebrakecircuitandreleasesthebrakesforservice.Thereliefvalve(RV)keeps
brakecircuitpressurebelow27.6bar(400psi)whenusingthehandpump.

1.ReadtheGeneralPrecautionsforRemovingandInstallingHydraulicSystem
Components(page5–73).
2.Topreventcontaminationofhydraulicsystemduringmanifoldremoval,
thoroughlycleanexteriorofmanifoldandttings.
3.Disconnectallhydrauliclinesfrommanifoldandputcapsorplugson
openhydrauliclinesandttingstopreventsystemcontamination.Label
disconnectedhydrauliclinesforproperassembly.
4.Removehydraulicmanifoldfromtheframe.
5.Ifhydraulicttingsaretoberemovedfrommanifold,markttingorientationto
allowcorrectassembly.RemovettingsfrommanifoldanddiscardO−rings.
