TheYanmarenginethatpowersyourGroundsmasterusesanElectronicControl
Unit(ECU)forenginemanagement.TheengineECUcommunicateswiththe
ToroElectronicController(TEC)andtheInfoCenterdisplayonthemachine.The
engineECUislocatedontheleftsideofthemachineframeneartheengine.
AllwireharnesselectricalconnectorsshouldbepluggedintotheECUbefore
themachinekeyswitchismovedfromtheOFFpositiontoeithertheONor
STARTposition.
IftheengineECUistobedisconnectedforanyreason,makesurethatthe
keyswitchisintheOFFpositionwiththekeyremovedforaminimumofthirty
(30)secondsbeforedisconnectingtheengineECU.Also,topreventpossible
ECUdamagewhenweldingonthemachine,disconnecttheengineECUfrom
themachinebeforewelding.

correctengineservicemanualandtroubleshootingmanual.Also,theYanmar
SMARTASSIST−Directelectroniccontroldiagnosticsservicesystemisavailable
tosupporttheerrordiagnosisandmaintenanceservicesofengineelectrical
controldevices.
