Thehazardswitchislocatedontheconsolearm(Figure224).Whentheforward
endofthehazardswitchisdepressed,powerissenttotheashermoduleto
illuminatethehazardlights.Thehazardlightswillcontinuetoashuntilthe
switchisreturnedtotheOFF(rearward)position.Thehazardswitchreceives
powerfromfuseF−D4(10Amp).
Testing
1.Parkmachineonalevelsurface,lowercuttingdecksandstopengine.
Removekeyfromkeyswitch.
2.Turnbattery−disconnectswitchtotheOFFposition.
3.Disassembletheconsolearmtogainaccesstotheswitch(seeConsole
Arm(page7–35)).
4.Disconnectmachinewireharnessconnectorfromtheswitchbeingtested.

ofthethrottleswitchisshowninbelowtable.Withtheuseofamultimeter
(ohmssetting),theswitchfunctionsmaybetestedtodeterminewhether
continuityexistsbetweenthevariousterminalsforeachswitchposition.
Verifycontinuitybetweenswitchterminals.
