1.Removeoilfromliftcylinderintoadrainpanbyslowlypumpingthecylinder
shaft.Plugbothportsandcleantheoutsideofthecylinder.
IMPORTANT
Preventdamagewhenclampingthecylinder’sbarrelintoavise;
clampontheclevisonly.Donotcloseviseonbarrel.
2.Mountliftcylinderinaviseequippedwithsoftjawsbyclampingonthe
barrelclevis.
3.Removeretainingringthatsecuresheadinbarrel.
A.Useaspannerwrenchtorotateheadclockwiseuntiltheedgeofthe
retainingringappearsinthebarrelopening.
