Thecuttingdeckpositionswitchesarenormallyopenproximityswitchesthat
interactwithsensingplatesasthecuttingdeckliftarmsraiseandlower.Whena
cuttingdeckisintheloweredposition,thesensingplatewillbeneartheposition
switchandtheswitchwillbeclosed.Whenacuttingdeckisraised,thesensing
plateismovedawayfromthepositionswitchandtheswitchopens.
Thecuttingdeckpositionswitchesareattachedtobracketsonthetractionunit
frame.Thesensingplatesareattachedtotheliftarms.
Theslavecontrollermonitorsthepositionofthecuttingdeckpositionswitches.
Usinginputsfromthepositionswitches,theengineandcoolanttemperature
senders,thehigh/lowrangetractionspeedswitchandtheseatswitch,theslave
controllerenergizeshydraulicsolenoidvalvesPRVinthecuttingdeckcontrol
hydraulicmanifoldsasnecessarytoengagethecuttingblades.
