4.Disconnecthydraulichosesfromliftcylinderttings.Putcapsorplugson
ttingsandhosestopreventcontamination.Taghydrauliclinesforproper
assembly.
5.Removeangeheadscrewandangenutthatsecurethepintotheliftarm.
Removepinfromliftarmandcylindershaftcleviswhichwillfreeliftcylinder
fromliftarm.
6.Removecotterpinandtwo(2)atwashersfromoneendoftheclevispin.
Pullclevispinfromframeandcylinderbarrelclevis.Discardcotterpin.
7.Removeliftcylinderfrommachine.
8.Ifhydraulicttingsaretoberemovedfromliftcylinder,markttingorientation
toallowcorrectassembly.RemovettingsfromcylinderanddiscardO−rings.
WingCuttingDeckLiftCylinderInstallation(Figure128)
1.Ifttingswereremovedfromliftcylinder,lubricateandplacenewO−rings
ontottings.Installttingsintocylinderportsusingmarksmadeduringthe
removalprocesstoproperlyorientatettings.Tightenttings(seeInstalling
theHydraulicFittings(SAEStraightThreadO-RingFittings)(page5–9)).
2.Makesurethatcotterpinandtwo(2)atwashersareinstalledononeend
ofclevispin.
3.Positioncylinderbarrelclevistoframeandinsertclevispinintoframeand
cylinderclevis.Secureliftpinwithtwo(2)atwashersandanewcotterpin.
4.Insertpinthroughliftarmandcylindershaftclevis.Securepintoliftarmwith
angeheadscrewandangenut.
5.Removecapsorplugsplacedduringremovaltopreventcontamination.
6.Usingtagsplacedduringcylinderremoval,correctlyattachhydraulichoses
toliftcylinder(seeInstallingHydraulicHosesandTubes(O-RingFaceSeal)
(page5–7)).
7.Fillreservoirwithnewhydraulicuidasrequired.
8.Lubricateliftcylindergreasettings.
9.Afterassemblyiscompleted,operateliftcylinderfromstoptostoptoverify
thathydraulichosesandttingsarenotcontactedbyanything.
10.Checkhydraulicsystemforleaksbeforereturningthemachinetoservice.
