1.Positionmachineonaclean,levelsurface.Lowerfrontliftarms,stopengine
andremovekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Positionthecuttingdecktotheliftarms.
3.Alignliftarmsupporthubtocuttingdeck.Makesurethatslottedholeinthe
supporthubistowardtherearofthedeck.
4.Positionthrustwasher(item9)betweentheliftarmandtherear,slottedhole
ofthesupporthubandsecureliftarmsupporthubtodeckwithcapscrews
(item7),atwashers,plateandlocknuts.Tightenfastenersfrom128to
157N·m(94to116ft−lb).
5.Startengineandraisedeckslightly.Stopengineandremovekeyfromthe
keyswitch.
6.Installclevispinsandhairpinsthatsecuretheheight−of−cutchainstothe
rearofthecuttingdeck.
7.Positiondampertomountoncuttingdeck.Installspacerandspringpinto
securedampertodeck(Figure323).
8.Startengineandlowerdecktoground.Stopengineandremovekeyfrom
thekeyswitch.
9.Installhydraulicmotortocuttingdeck(seeCuttingDeckMotor(page5–118)).
10.Installallremovedcuttingdeckcovers.
11.Lubricategreasettingsoncuttingdeckandliftarmassemblies(see
Operator’sManual).
