Meter reads “CLOSED”

Float in raised position
3. With the meter probes still on the wires of the sensor,
raise the oat upwards, you should have continuity
(Fig. 386).

Float in “down” position
2. Set the multimeter to read continuity. Place the meter
probes on each wire. With the oat at the bottom
of the sensor you should have NO Continuity (Fig.
385).
