11. Remove the mower spindle belt from the top groove
of the jackshaft sheave pulley (Fig. 423).

12. Remove both the left and right mower drive belts
from the jackshaft sheave (Fig. 424).

14. Remove the front and rear lift chains from the right
side of the mower deck (Fig. 426).

13. Raise the mower deck to the transport position.
Install a 4 x 4 wood block under the right side of the
mower deck. Lower the deck to relieve tension on
the lift chains on the right side (Fig. 425).
