[LDAP Session] Set to Enable.
[DNS Session] Set to Enable and specify the DNS server address.
[DDNS Session] Specify the host name and domain name.
3. Configure the following settings as required.
- The directory service needs to be registered in the [Administration] -> [Mainte-
nance] -> [Directory Services].
- When you configure the User Authentication for Scan to Email to obtain the
From Address from the directory service, the correct LDAP attribute for “user
name” must be specified. For example, the attribute of “user name” is typically
“cn” for Windows 2000 Server and Windows Server 2003, and it is typically “uid”
for the Novell Directory Service.
