previously required, from the last section, in order to have complete printed
data.
The paper roll replacement should be quick. By opening the lid on the face of
the printer, it will release the paper holder, allowing to slot in the new roll
without any specific fitting. The only precaution is to insert the roll with the
printing side upward, otherwise it will not print.
Micro Controller
The two main element of interest on the main board is the flash memory and
the real time clock.
The memory size of the TouchLog is 8 MB, sufficient to hold all the data for
minimum 1 year.
The real time clock keeps the time/date for minimum 5 years, through an
internal dedicated battery. The adopted battery guarantees operation in
ambient temperature up to 70°C.
The RTC signal is easily accessible via 2 holes in the bottom panel of the
device (square wave), so that competent bodies can check the clock accuracy
without opening the TouchLog.
The clock exactness is compliant with the EN12830 requirements, with a
maximum error in duration of 1 week less than 1 minute.
