TouchLog models have six configurable inputs, to be used either for
temperature measurement (analogue) or status and on/off inputs derived
from volt free contacts (digital).
The TouchLog supports the following configuration:
By default, I1 and I2 are configured for analogue inputs, to connect to the
temperature sensors, and I3 is configured for a digital input, to connect to
a door switch.
Additionally, 3 extra inputs, configurable analogue or digital I4…I6, are
available to measure temperature or detect switches or states (doors,
defrost status).
Using firmware 515.026 or above, a humidity sensor can be purchased
separately to log humidity. The humidity sensor needs to be installed to
serial port RS485, and it will replace one of the 6 inputs in the memory
and the ticket (configurable).
Analogue/Digital inputs are numbered from 1 to 6, and each one can be
associated to a label defined by the user (e.g. front, rear, side, door etc.)
via the User menu.
The TouchLog inputs terminal has the following electrical connections:
I1, GND, I2, I3, GND, I4, I5, GND, I6 (9 poles). A ground connection will be
available every 2 inputs.
These electrical connections (with screw removable connectors) will have an
optional plastic element covering them, with the possibility to seal it so that
to avoid the disconnection of temperature probes to preserve the legal
metrology chain, See “Specifications,” p. 53 for reference standards.
