The Temperature sensor operating range is set among the parameter in
order to detect if the current value is out of the allowed range. That could
indicate that the sensor is not connected properly or in short circuit.

Digital Input
Functions which can be associated to digital inputs (via protected memory
settings) are:
• Door 1…3 (clean contacts)
• Defrost status (clean contact)
Digital inputs are to detect and to log/print defined states of the sensors, not
to modify or take any associated action.
Digital Output
A digital output is available and can be activated in case of active alarm
conditions, 1 Amp Max. A light, buzzer or similar devices typically use 1 relay
(the TouchLog has been tested with ZETTLER AZ980-1A-12D device) and can
be installed as per the manufacturer requirement.
The external alarm device has to be connected between the vehicle positive
supply and this Output (ALM), which closes to ground when active and the
voltage tolerance of the output is aligned with the power supply.
The digital output device associated to the TouchLog is not available as part
of the default configuration.
Power Supply
The supply may be any voltage between 10.5V and 32 Vdc. Up to 36 Vdc may
be applied for a short periods of time, without damaging the TouchLog.
The TouchLog has a power saving mode. This sleep mode activates after 15
minutes without pressing a key.
