• When sending the data to the USB flash drive, the display shows a
clear indication.
• USB host port accepts most of the commonly used USB flash drives.
• In case of the USB flash drive is full, the TouchLog will generate an
error message.
Serial Port
TouchLog premium has 3 serial communication ports (RS232 or RS485) are
available in the back part of the product, typically to permit access to the
stored data (READ only) from external devices.
The standard version includes only one serial communication port. This
RS232 serial connection is dedicated to connect to the Thermo King
TracKing communication device, a GPRS/GSM modem to read and send the
analog and digital input over the air to a customized Thermo King website.
Similarly this COM port can be used to interface with a third party
communication device to send some information via a license agreement.
The extra 2 serial connections are only available in the Premium model.
These COM port can be used to connect to:
• Thermo King reefer units
• External digital probes
NNoottee:: The standard version cannot be upgraded in the field to a premium
version.
