Hold down the key and hang up the handset on the receiver. Then release the key
and proceed with your call.
US mode
If the country setting is set to US, you do not have to hold down the loudspeaker
key when replacing the handset to switch to speakerphone mode.
Press the key shown.
Hang up the handset. Proceed with your call.
SWITCHING TO HANDSET
Prerequisite: You are conducting a call in speakerphone mode.
Lift the handset. Proceed with your call. The hands-free microphone is switched
off.
OPEN LISTENING IN THE ROOM DURING A CALL
You can let other people in the room join in on the call. Let the other party know
that you have turned on the speaker.
Prerequisite: You are conducting a call via the handset.
Activating
Press the key shown. The hands-free microphone remains switched off.
Deactivating
Press the key shown.
USING CALL WAITING (SECOND CALL)
You can still be reached by a caller even if you are already conducting a call. An
advisory tone and the message “From: ^” on the display alert you to the second
call.
You can ignore or accept the second call. Before you accept the second call, you
can end the first call or place it on hold for subsequent retrieval.
You can block the second call or the advisory tone (see "Muting the call waiting
tone " à page 29).
