Checking
and
Adjusting Pinion Gap
1.
Disconnect the connecting lead from C terminal.
2.
Energize the magnet switch
and
measure the gap between the pinion tip and the stop collar.
3.
To
adjust the
gap,
change the length of the magnet switch
jOint
to
the specified
one.
Reference value
0.1
to 5.0 mm
0.004 to 0.197 in.
