CHANGING ENGINE OIL
FILTER
CARTRIDGE
Remove the oil filter cartridge with a filter wrench.
Apply a slight coat of oil
to
the rubber gasket
on
the new cartridge.
Screw the new cartridge
in
by hand.
Over-tightening may cause deformation of rubber gasket.
After cartridge
has
been replaced, engine oil normally decreases a little. Check that the engine
oil does not leak through the seal and be sure
to
read the oil level. Then, add engine oil up
to
the prescribed level.

INSPECTION OF FUEL
FILTER
The fuel filter
is
installed
in
the fuel line from the fuel tank
to
the injection pump (between the tank
and feed pump
in
the basic model).
As the fuel from the inlet of the cock body moves through the filter element, the dirt and impurities
in
the fuel are filtered, allowing only clean fuel to enter the inside of the filter element.
The cleaned fuel flows out from the outlet of the cock
body.
Before starting or after disassembling and reassembling, loosen the air vent plug
to
bleed the air
in
the fuel line.
