LX 31/41 Work Platform 2-1
NOTE: Read and familiarize yourself with all operating
instructions before attempting to operate the LX 31/41
Work Platform.
2.1 Preparation for Use
STAND CLEAR when cutting the metal
banding to avoid being cut if the banding
snaps back.
1. Remove the metal banding from the module covers
and elevating linkage.
2. Remove the banding from the control console.
3. Remove tie wraps holding guardrail gate.
4. Connect the negative (-) lead to the negative (-)
battery terminal in power module (Figure 2-1).

2.2 Transporting Work
Platform
By Crane
1. Secure straps to chassis tie down/lifting lugs only
(Figure 6).
By Truck
1. Maneuver the work platform into transport
position and chock wheels.
2. Secure the work platform to the transport vehicle
with chains or straps of adequate load capacity
attached to the chassis tie down/lifting lugs (Figure 6).
Overtightening of chains or straps
through tie down lugs may result in
damage to work platform.
