8Repair Policy and Procedures
Refer to this section for information on:
• The manufacturer’s responsibility
• Returning the generator for service
• Returning circuit boards
• Service centers.
Responsibility of the Manufacturer
Valleylab is responsible for the safety, reliability, and performance of the
generator only under the following circumstances:
• Installation and setup procedures in this manual are followed.
• Assembly operation, readjustments, modifications, or repairs are
carried out by persons authorized by Valleylab.
• The electrical installation of the relevant room complies with local
codes and regulatory requirements, such as the IEC and BSI.
• The equipment is used in accordance with the Valleylab instructions
for use.
For warranty information, refer to Appendix A, Warranty, at the end of
this manual.
