4.3 Messaging Format
4.3.1 Explicit Messaging Connections
Explicit Messaging Connections, (see figure below) provide generic, multi-purpose communication paths between two
devices. An Explicit Message consists of a Connection ID and associated messaging protocol information.Explicit
messaging connections utilize a direct request / response format which allow you to access any attribute data. Explicit
messaging is typically used for the setup, configuration, and calibration of your device.
