4 Putting into operation
Battery connector
DANGER
Risk of electric shock from defective components or contact with the
high-voltage system!
Causes serious injury or death.
â–º Before opening the battery cover plate, actuate the motor isolating
switch and remove the ignition key.
â–º The battery cover plate may only be opened by specially trained
personnel.
â–º Do not touch damaged high-voltage system components or cables
(orange-labeled).
The battery connector connects or disconnects the entire electrical system
from the battery.
If the battery and electrical system have been disconnected from each
other, the machine cannot be turned on by unauthorized persons.
The battery connector is located under the battery cover plate in the
vicinity of the battery.
