•FOCUSCAMERA
The camera associated with the alarm input.
•DURATION
Set the length of time the buzzer and the corresponding Alarm Out relay will remain triggered once the
alarm input is triggered. The buzzer and Alarm Out relay will reset immediately once motion is no longer
detected. If ‘-‘ for indenite is selected, the Alarm Reset button on the remote control will have to be
pushed to reset the alarm.
•GOTOPRESET
Dene the preset PTZ position the Focus Camera will go to if the alarm input is triggered (the focus camera
must be a PTZ camera for this feature). For more details about preset positions for PTZ cameras, refer to
Section 7.
•PRE-RECORD
Dene how much time the DVR will record before the alarm input is triggered. The Pre Record FPS set in
Section 9.3.5 determines the frame rate of this recording

•POST-RECORD
Dene how much time the DVR will record after the alarm input is triggered. The Event Record FPS set in
Section 9.3.5 determines the frame rate of the post recording.
•ALARMOUT
Dene which Alarm Output will be triggered when the alarm input is triggered.
•BUZZER
By default, the internal buzzer is enabled to sound when the alarm input is triggered.
•LOG
By default, the DVR will log when the alarm input is triggered to the event Log.
•SCREENMESSAGE
By default, the DVR will display a message in the System Status Bar (visible from the VGA or BNC main
monitor output) when the alarm input is triggered.
•E-MAIL
Send an email message to a predened email address in the event the alarm input is triggered. The default
setting is disabled. See Section 9.3.13 for more information on e-mail.
•FTP
This DVR can send the recorded video from the associated camera when an alarm input is triggered.
