REP 5.16 DADF Top Cover Sensors (4265)

Removal
WARNING
Switch off the electricity to the machine. Disconnect the power cord from the customer
supply while performing tasks that do not need electricity. Electricity can cause death or
injury. Moving parts can cause injury.
WARNING
Take care during this procedure. Sharp edges may be present that can cause injury.
CAUTION
Before performing this procedure, refer to General Disassembly Precautions, GP 10.
NOTE: The locations of the following sensors are identified in this REP:
• Paper Feed Timing Sensor
• Paper Width Sensor
• Pickup Assembly Position Sensor
• Paper Detect Sensor
• Paper Registration Sensor
1. Power off the machine. Disconnect the power cord.
2. Remove the DADF Top Cover Assembly (REP 5.14).
3. Separate the Top Cover from the Inner Cover (Figure 1).

Remove the six mounting screws.
