Repairs and Adjustments
9. Prepare to remove the Tray 1 Feed Assembly (Figure 3).

10. Reposition the printer so that it sits on the table top in the operating position.
11. Open the Side Cover Assembly, PL 7.30 Item 1.
12. Remove the tray 1 feed assembly, Figure 4.

Remove the four mounting screws.

Remove the Tray 1 Feed Assembly

Use a flat bladed screwdriver to push the
back right dowel through the machine
frame.

Disconnect the harness from the
tray 1 stack height sensor and the
tray 1 paper empty sensor.

Remove the Tray 1 Feed Assem-
bly from the machine.

(4265) Disconnect the two clip-
type connectors in the same area.
