8.7. Data Export
RSQ offers a variety of different data export formats, all which can be accessed through
the Export button, shown in Figure 103. Each of the options is described in the following
sections.

8.7.1 Matlab Export (for QRev)
The Matlab Export tool exports the .rsqmb to .mat files for processing in Matlab with the
anticipation that the user will use QRev (see
https://hydroacoustics.usgs.gov/movingboat/QRev.shtml) for post-processing. However,
QRev is not required, and the user can process the files directly in Matlab if desired.
The user will notice that the file structure mimics that of the Matlab export for the
RiverSurveyor M9/S5 to make the input to QRev more simple.
