CHECKING THE ENGINE IDLING SPEED
NOTE:
Prior to adjusting the engine idling
speed,
the air
filter element should be clean, and the engine
should have adequate compression.
1.
Start the engine and let it warm up for sev-
eral minutes.
2.
Remove:
8 panel
Refer to”FOOTREST BOARD AND IN-
NER FENDER”.
3. Connect:
8 digital circuit tester
(onto the spark plug lead of cylinder)
Digital circuit tester

4.
Check:
• engine idling speed
Out of specification -»Replace the throttle
body assembly.

2000~2200r/min
5. Install:
8 panel
Refer to”FOOTREST BOARD AND IN-
NER FENDER”.
