Trafcmonitoringinvolvescreatingapolicerthatspeciesthe
bandwidthlimitsforthetrafc.Packetsthatexceedthelimitsare
outofproleornonconforming.Eachpolicerspeciestheaction
totakeforpacketsthatareinoroutofprole.Thefollowing
operationsarespeciedbythepolicer:

�Changeitsdiscardpriority(packetswiththehigherdiscardpri-
