thereisaloopontheport.Ifthereisaloop,theswitchwilltake
measures.Thiscanavoidbroadcaststorm.
OnZXR108900seriesswitch,portloopdetectionfunctioncan
beconguredtodetectlooponaportorallports.Bydefault,
thedetectionfunctionisdisabled.Theswitchsupportsdetection
functionbasedonVLAN,thatis,theswitchcandetectloopinthe
VLANthatownsthesamePVIDwiththatontheport,aswellasin
theVLANthatusersdesignate.Onaport,itisuptodetectloops
in8VLANsatthesametime.
AportsendsaLayer2multicastmessageevery15seconds.If
thereisalooponaport,themulticastmessagewillgobacktothe
portthroughwhichthemessageissent.
