40.2 Command Examples
This example shows the current MAC address table.
The following table describes the labels in this screen.
mac-transfer dynamic-to-forward
interface port-channel <port-
list>
Displays and changes all MAC addresses dynamically
learned on the specified port(s) into static MAC addresses.

Displays and changes all dynamically learned MAC
addresses in the specified VLAN(s) into static MAC
addresses.

LABEL DESCRIPTION
Port This is the port from which the above MAC address was learned.
Drop: The entry is created from a filtering rule.
VLAN ID This is the VLAN group to which this frame belongs.
MAC Address This is the MAC address of the device from which this frame came.
Type This shows whether the MAC address is dynamic (learned by the Switch)
or static (manually entered using mac-forward commands, see Chapter
43 on page 185).
